On August 2, the price of WTI crude oil futures rose to 55.66 U.S. dollars per barrel, an increase of 1.18 U.S. dollars. Brent crude oil futures rose to 61.89 U.S. dollars per barrel, an increase of 1.01 U.S. dollars.
